
Terms & Conditions
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued, after this time period Total Seal is entitled to revise the quotation.
Upon signing our ‘Acceptance Form’ the client agrees & accepts these terms & conditions.
The job is not considered as booked until it is returned to totalsealws@gmail.com & a date of commencement is agreed upon.
Payment is strictly due on completion of job. No statements are issued. Total Seal will not provide certification until payment has been received.
Project dates & timeframes are estimates only & cannot be guaranteed due to many factors (weather, temperature, humidity etc).
All quote assume there is no unforeseen asbestos on site, should asbestos be found the cost of the removal is the clients responsibility.
Total Seal guarantees we are licenced for both carpentry & waterproofing. we guarantee that all waterproofing membrane installations are completed to ‘Australian Standard 3740’.
Shower remedies (reseals, regrouts, silicone application etc) are the minimum solution that we offer. The client understands these are a temporary solution due as we are unable to foresee any damage within the wall that can disturb our treatments without an invasive inspection.
A shower renovation is the minimum recommendation for any renovation works. Total Seal is unable to foresee damages outside of the shower area without an invasive inspection & is not liable if anything should arise.
Total seal is not liable for any previous work prior to membrane installation.
Total Seal warrants the installation of waterproofing products, whilst the products themselves carry their own warranties.
- 10 years from installation by Total Seal.
The following are excluded from Total Seal’s warranty:
- The effects of an Act of God including but not limited to; lightening, floods or storms, etc.
- Structural cracks, structural movement, vibration or displacement in the foundations, slabs or boarded areas in excess of the manufacturers terms & conditions, usually 3mm or greater.
- Damage to the membrane by any third party.
Warranty claims must be made by the customer to Total Seal within seven (7) days of discovery. The customer must provide all details of the services provided, date & address of installation, description of the alleged defect or failure along with photographic evidence via email to totalsealws@gmail.com
If the claim is determined to be covered under Total Seal’s Warranty, Total Seal will bear all costs of inspections, testing & other works carried out. By making a warranty claim, the customer agrees if it is determined that the alleged defect or failure is not covered by Total Seal’s Warranty, the customer will immediately reimburse Total Seal for all reasonable documented expenses incurred with respect to your claim, including & without limitation the cost of any inspections, testing & other work that has been carried out.
